Return Requirements

BitterSweet will happily accept any returns or exchanges that meet the following requirements! If you ship back an item that does not meet these conditions, you will NOT be refunded and will have to pay for return shipping. No exceptions.

Merchandise purchased online must be returned within 30 days of placing your order.

To make an online exchange, please purchase the new item first and then send back the item you wish to return.

Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, free of any alterations and all original BitterSweet and vendor tags must be attached to the item(s).

All Sale items are FINAL SALE. Any item purchased at a discounted price is a final purchase and cannot be returned or exchanged. Additional coupon codes are excluded.

Any items purchased under a Buy One Get One Sale, or a sale that requires you to spend a certain amount of money to get the discount, are eligible for a return.  However, please note that the return quantity will be prorated to account for the sale.

Swimwear and intimates are eligible for return as long as all tags and hygienic strips are intact.

All Accessories are FINAL SALE! Please contact us if you have any questions about accessories.

Damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of receiving your item. Please email paula@shopbittersweet.com. If the item is available, we will gladly replace it free of charge. Should the item not be available, you will be refunded for the item. Please note: once the tags are removed or after the 48 hours, BitterSweet is not responsible for any damages.

Holiday Returns: All items purchased between November 20th and December 25th can be returned by January 6th, or 30 days after the purchase date, whichever is the longer period. Final sale items are still final.

VERY IMPORTANT! Make sure your item meets all the return requirements listed above. If it does not, you will not receive your refund and the item will only be shipped back once return shipping cost is paid.  If you have questions if your item is eligible for return, please email us at paula@shopbittersweet.com. Please note that all discounted sales are final.

Option 1: Self Serve Returns
You can start a return on your own by logging into your account here  and following the return prompts.
Print the label, and ship your items back! Your label will be subtracted from your return total for easy returns. 
Option 2: Email Us
You can send an email to paula@shopbittersweet.com with your order number, items you'd like to return, and reason for the return and we will email you a return label.,

Option 3: In Store Returns
Stop by one of our in store locations and we can return your order in person as long as it meets the return criteria.  Exchanges can also be completed in store for any items available in that location.  
Option 4: Use Your Own Shipping
If you wish to use your own return shipment provider, please mail your return to

Please include your invoice and include the reason for return.  We recommend using a trackable shipping service with insurance so you ensure we will get your return.  We are not responsible for any issues with your shipping provider and you will not be refunded if we do not receive your item(s).
  

Please Note:

As mentioned above, if you return an item that doesn't meet our return requirements, you will not receive a refund and will be responsible for paying for return shipping.  There will be no exceptions.

All sale items are final sale and not eligible for return.  If you return a sale item, we will not be able to provide you a refund and you will be responsible for paying for return shipping.

You are responsible for paying the return shipment fee for any package shipped back and the original shipping cost is non-refundable. This cost is usually between $2 and $10.

For international returns, please email us prior to returning your package as the process is different than U.S. returns. You will still be responsible for the cost of shipping and original shipping costs are not refundable.

Please allow 1-2 weeks processing time to get your refund.
